The proof is in the ...

OK - here's your proof. Two stripes. Just like the home kit - only this one comes with the ObieGynee seal of approval.

No rabbits were harmed in the taking of this test.

DAY ONE

Actually, this is like day three ... but I've got a lot on my mind. You can't hold it against me.

Normally this type of thing wouldn't interest me in the slightest. I don't read other people's blogs and never thought I'd actually take the time to start one up. But things change right?

OK, let's jump right in to it. I'm going to be a dad. Crazy isn't it? A couple of days ago, my wife peed on a stick and now we're sitting on HUGE news. And you're not supposed to tell anyone for what, three months? We're sitting on the biggest secret of our lives.

And we're bad with secrets. (Hence this blog.)

So here's the deal. I'm writing all this down now - so I can tell you about it later. Make sense? It's like Back to the Future - without the Delorean. And I don't have to date my mother.

So, in a few months I'll tell you "Guess what?" And unless you already found this site - or one of us broke the code of silence - you'll be surprised. And then instead of answering ALL of your questions (multiplied by the number of the many, many people who care) I can just email you this link.

But that's not what you came here for. In fact, I probably put all of that in the email I sent you. Or told you over the phone.

You want to know about the kid.

So Racheal had her first doctor appointment today. No stick - this time I think she peed in a cup. But the results are the same. We're going to be parents.

Please make sure your seat belt is secure and keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times. The ride begins now ...
