Catching up

I've been holding onto this image since I returned from Syracuse. (I'm not lazy - I just kept forgetting that it was on my phone.)
Rain is to the desert what that first snowfall is to those in the Midwest. It's exciting and new and you've had a LONG time to forget how inconvinient it can be.
But mostly, it's for playing in.
Now, we can't exacly make snow angels or snow forts - but we can play in the giant puddles that form in the street in front of the house.
And we did.
And I couldn't think of a better way to spend my first day back after a week away from my girls.

That's awesome. Last year, when you were in 'cuse, we had rain. It was cold! But I recall it being kinda cool to be in the desert and have it rain. It's definitely different than rain here.

Everything's better in Tucson!
