We finally broke our string of 100º+ days here in the Old Pueblo, so we celebrated with a trip to the park. We tired the boys out at the dog run for a while and then just wandered about.
Kaylee wasn't sure what to think of her first experience with the swings. She didn't seem scared – more like concerned.
Since it's not something we see every day, much less sit in, grass took some getting used to as well.
But she quickly learned it's as good a place as any to tackle Eddie.
And there's cool things to be found. This stick kept her entertained for a good 15 minutes.
The no-hawk and the faux-hawk.
Kaylee today: Wide-eyed.

Get her back to Illinois at a decent time of year, and she can play with other cool things... like tree leaves and snow.
