Currently obsessed with ...

TRUCKS – to the point where she will stop eating and cry until you let her out of her chair so she can look out the window. Too bad Papa Allen isn't driving the big rigs anymore, I think she'd get a kick out of that.

There are way worse things she could be into, so be happy it's trucks.

And not piercings. Or dynamite. Or (gasp) boys!

I may not be driving the big rigs, however I am driving a truck almost exactly like the one in the picture...only mine is an International 4300 and the sign on the door reads; Effingham/Clay Service Co.(FS as in Gromark). I run a 200 mile route 4 days a week. On Monday you might meet me near:Neoga,Stewardson,Middlesworth,Shelbyville,Tower Hill,Sullivan, Humboldt,Fairgrange,Charleston, Ashmore,Kansas,Casey or headed back to Effingham on I-70 with the "Hammer Down"...on Tuesday watch for me near Toledo,Greenup, Rose Hill,Willow Hill,Newton,Lis, Ingraham,Louisville,Sandoval or on I-57 "gougin on it" to Watson then Effingham...Wednesday is"shop day" no route to run; however one might find me driving any sort of rig parked out behind your local FS facility and/or lying beneath said machinery with wrench in hand. Thursday and Friday are repeats of Monday and Tuesday respectfully. HOOOOOOORAY!!!! I'm home every day/nite and am only required to work one Sat. out of 7. I'M IN HEAVEN!!! My primary duty is to pick up/deliver the company mail bags. I also haul some feed, seed, or anything else AG related. I spend most of my route days fielding such inquiries as, "How much rain did you guys get down/up /over there" or "How's the corn/beans lookin d/u/o there...I'M LUVIN IT!!! After 25+ years of wanderin', I'm "Back on the Farm", sort of...{You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy}.

Allen, that is AWESOME! Good for you! Loving what you do makes work seem a lot less like ... well ... work!
